Officials from Slovenia's Adria Airways announced on Monday, September 30, that the company has initiated bankruptcy proceedings as a result of its insolvency. The airline has been operating at a decreased capacity since Tuesday, September 24. As of Monday, all scheduled Adria Airways flights have been canceled. Some Austrian Airlines and Lufthansa flights, which were contracted to Adria Airways, have also reportedly been affected.

Flight disruptions, including delays and cancelations, are expected in the coming weeks for all Adria Airways customers.
