Metro Line B in Rome will undergo construction in three phases during the month of October, interrupting service along the line. The closures are scheduled to take place between October 5-6, 12-13, and 26-27, and will impact 13 of the line's 26 stations between Laurentina and Castro Pretorio stations. The stations will be closed to facilitate construction connecting Line C with Line B at the Colosseo station.
Replacement buses will be offered to customers during each phase to and from all affected stations on the relevant dates. Transportation disruptions, including increased road and metro congestion on other lines, are to be expected as passengers seek alternate routes during the construction period.
Individuals in Rome are advised to monitor developments to the situation, budget ample travel time, and anticipate delays and other transportation disruptions.
