A dangerous substance has reportedly spilled at the Faculty of Sciences of Lisbon on Friday, October 4. The titanium chloride spill has prompted the evacuation of the university in the late morning (local time). A security perimeter was established, and a security presence has been reported. No injuries have yet been reported. Details are emerging.

A heightened security presence and transportation disruptions are to be expected in the vicinity of the university over the coming several hours and possibly days.
