The main runway at Mumbai Airport (BOM) will be closed for repairs from November 7 to March 28; flight disruptions expected

Event

The main runway at Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (BOM) will be partially closed for repairs between the hours of 09:00 and 17:30 (local time) from Thursday, November 7, to Saturday, March 28. The runway will reportedly remain open on Sundays and on heavy travel days, such as December 25, January 1 and 15, February 19 and 21, and March 10 and 25. The airport is expected to operate at a significantly diminished capacity during closure times. Flight disruptions, including delays and cancelations, are expected.
