Event

A mob of around 100 people set fire to at least 158 houses, a school, and other public facilities in North Penajam Paser (East Kalimantan province) on Wednesday, October 16. The arson attacks come one week after a confrontation erupted between two communities in the area, leaving one person dead. The cause of the clash was not immediately reported.

Further clashes between the two communities cannot be ruled out over the coming days.
