Rail disruptions in Stockholm between the Stockholm Central and Stockholm South stations are to continue through the morning (local time) on Tuesday, October 22. The track, under construction since Friday, October 18, was expected to open on Monday, October 21, though a signal failure has prolonged the repair period.

As a result, several routes will be affected due to the need to cancel and reroute: Stockholm-Nyköping/Norrköping/Malmö and Copenhagen, Stockholm-Skövde/Göteborg, Stockholm-Hallsberg/Karlstad/Oslo and Stockholm-Eskilstuna/Arboga/Örebro.

Associated transportation disruptions and crowded trains are to be expected during these dates.

Individuals in Stockholm are advised to monitor the situation, allow ample travel time, and obey instructions issued by the local authorities.
