The All Pakistan Anjuman-e-Tajran (APAT) trader's association called for a two-day nationwide strike on Tuesday, October 29 and Wednesday, October 30, to denounce government economic policy. The association warned that the strike will be indefinitely extended and warned of possible acts of civil disobedience if their demands are not met.
