National Unity Day events will be held in New Delhi on Thursday, October 31. Around 15,000 people are expected to participate in the “Run for Unity,” which will begin at 07:10 (local time). The run will start at the main gate of the Dhyan Chand National Stadium (India Gate) and end at Amar Jawan Jyoti, via C Hexagon Rajpath Crossing. Additional police officers will be deployed along the race route to facilitate traffic and to provide security. Crowded conditions and significant traffic disruptions are anticipated in the area from 06:30 through 08:30.
National Unity Day was first inaugurated in 2014 and celebrates the birth of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
Individuals in New Delhi are advised to keep abreast of the situation, plan alternative routes, obey all instructions issued by the local authorities, and anticipate traffic congestion, longer travel times, and a heightened security presence.
