Three protests are set to take place in Athens on Thursday, October 31.

A student demonstration is scheduled at 12:00 (local time) to denounce the abolition of a law preventing security forces from entering university buildings. Students are expected to gather at the Propylaea and then march to the Parliament.

Another protest from the All-Workers Militant Front (PAME) is scheduled at 13:00 outside Parliament building to denounce planned changes to a law granting asylum to migrants. Finally, anti-racist organisations are expected to protest around Parliament over the same issue, at 18:00.

A heightened security presence and localized transport disruptions are likely near the protest sites.
