The UFO union representing flight attendants at Lufthansa and four of its subsidiaries voted on Friday, November 1, to hold an indefinite strike. The union has said that it will announce the details of the planned work stoppages in the afternoon (local time) on Monday, November 4. A similar strike on Sunday, October 20, led to the cancelation of at least 100 flights.

Flight disruptions, including delays and cancelations, are anticipated if the strike goes ahead as planned.

Individuals flying to or from Germany are advised to monitor the situation, confirm their flight status, and maintain flexible itineraries.
