The UFO union issued a statement on Monday, November 4, calling for Lufthansa cabin crew members to hold a 48-hour strike from Thursday, November 7, through Saturday, November 9. According to UFO leaders, the strike will affect all Lufthansa flights scheduled to leave from airports in Germany. Flight disruptions, including delays and cancelations, are anticipated if the strike goes ahead as planned.

Context

A similar strike was held on October 20, led to the cancelation of at least 100 flights. Union leaders claim that that Lufthansa has refused to negotiate over better pay and conditions for cabin crew members.
