Oman Air announced it would cancel up to 398 flights from Monday, November 4, through Saturday, November 30, following a directive from the Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA). The airline has extended the grounding of its Boeing 737 MAX fleet, prompting cancelations to several destinations, including Bangkok, Jaipur, Dubai, Jeddah, Athens, Kuwait City, and others in India, Africa, and the Middle East.

More details regarding canceled flights and possible rebooking opportunities can be found on Oman Air's website. Further cancelations and announcements on reduced services are possible in the coming months.

Boeing and various international aviation authorities have recommended the temporary suspension of all Model 737 MAX aircraft worldwide on Wednesday, March 13 after the crash of Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302 on Sunday, March 10, which killed all 157 people onboard a Boeing Model 737 MAX 8. All Boeing Model 737 MAX aircraft have been grounded worldwide.

Individuals flying Oman Air are advised to confirm their flight status, maintain a flexible itinerary, and anticipate further flight disruptions.
