Supporters of Juan Guaido, a Venezuelan opposition leader, reportedly gained access to the Venezuelan embassy in Brasilia on the morning (local time) of Wednesday, November 13. Supporters of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro then entered the complex in an attempt to disperse the group. No violence has been reported and a Brazilian diplomat and Brazilian security forces were dispatched to the embassy to ameliorate the situation.
