Event

The Peasant Development Committee (CODECA) has scheduled a protest in Guatemala City for Thursday, November 14, to denounce an allegedly racist coup d'état in Bolivia. The protest is also to signal the group's solidarity with indigenous people in Bolivia as former President Evo Morales, a member of the indigenous community, recently resigned. Associated transportation disruptions and a heightened security presence, particularly at the Embassy, are to be expected throughout.
