Finnair announced it was canceling 276 flights scheduled for Sunday, November 24, and Monday, November 25. Ground staff represented by the Finnish Aviation Union are set to hold a 24-hour work stoppage on Monday in solidarity with striking postal workers. Around 20,000 travelers are expected to be affected by the cancelations. A spokesman for the airline said that approximately 120 of the 377 flights scheduled for Monday would go ahead as planned.

Further details regarding canceled flights and possible rebooking opportunities can be found here.

The Post and Logistics Union (PAU) launched a strike on November 11 after negotiations broke down with Posti on a new collective bargaining agreement. Multiple employee unions in Finland have announced measures to support some 9000 postal workers who have been on strike.

Individuals flying via Finnair are advised to confirm their flight status, maintain a flexible itinerary, and anticipate further flight disruptions.
