Climate activists have called for pro-environmental protests across South Africa on Friday, November 29, to denounce the commercial "Black Friday" retail event. In Cape Town, participants plan to gather at 12:00 (local time) in front of Parliament. In Durban, a demonstration is set from 12:00 to 14:30 in front of the townhall. In Johannesburg, protesters plan to gather as of 10:00 in front of the Stock Exchange. Additional protests are expected across South Africa.
