Corsica's Ajaccio-Napoleon Bonaparte Airport (AJA) is expected to remain closed on Thursday, December 26, following the passage of Storm Fabien on December 21-22, which flooded the runway. It remains unclear when normal flight operations will resume. Flights continue to be diverted to Bastia-Poretta Airport (BIA) with a shuttle bus service put in place to link both cities.

Lingering flight delays are possible at AJA over the coming days.

Advice

Individuals traveling via AJA are advised to monitor local weather reports, prepare for flight disruptions, and contact their airline for more information.
