The "En Aucun Cas" civil society group has called for a protest march in Lomé on Saturday, December 28, to denounce President Faure Gnassingbé's intention to run for a fourth consecutive mandate and ask the release of political prisoners. Participants are due to meet at 10:00 (local time) in the Gakpoto area before heading to the Eglise des assemblées de Dieu de Kpota.
A heightened security presence and transpiration disruptions are to be expected along the march route.
