At least 22 people were killed and eight others injured in a traffic accident in Port Said on Saturday, December 28. According to officials, a minibus transporting laborers from Port Said to Damietta collided with a truck on a highway linking the two cities. The cause of the accident is not yet known. 

Transportation disruptions, including road closures and public transport delays, are possible in the area over the coming hours.
