A demonstration is ongoing in Kabul as of 10:50 (local time) on Saturday, February 1. Approximately 50 people are gathered on the road leading to Hamid Karzai International Airport (KBL).

A heightened security presence and localized transportation disruptions are expected in the coming hours.
