Around 14:00 (local time) on Sunday, February 2, police responded to reports of a stabbing in Streatham, south of London. The assailant, who had a device strapped to his chest, was shot and killed after having wounded two people. Streatham High Road remains closed in both directions amid an ongoing investigation. Metropolitan Police have declared the attack a terrorist incident.
