The storm is expected to persist through Monday, February 10, into early (local time) Tuesday. Sabine is expected to cause significant disruptions to air and land transportation services. Officials with Lufthansa said that flight cancelations and delays should be expected from Saturday evening until Tuesday. Passengers with trips during this time frame have been advised to delay their travels.

Associated power outages and disruptions to transportation and business services are possible in areas forecast to be affected by the storm system over the coming days.

Individuals in areas forecast to be affected by the storm are advised to monitor local weather reports, prepare for winter weather, and anticipate transportation disruptions, including flight delays and adverse driving conditions, and power outages.
