An air strike targeting a vehicle in eastern Nangarhar province reportedly killed at least eight people on Friday, February 14. Unconfirmed sources report that the fatalities were all civilians. The incident was confirmed on Friday by a spokesman for the provincial governor of Nangarhar, but the victims were not identified. Further air strikes are possible in Nangarhar province over the near term.
