Israeli border police shot and killed a Palestinian near Jerusalem's Lion's Gate, suspected of aiming to carry out a stabbing attack, on Saturday, February 22. The suspect was reportedly running while wielding a knife when border police shot and killed him. A passerby was wounded in the incident. A heightened security presence is likely in the area over the coming hours.  


Individuals in Jerusalem are advised to monitor developments to the situation, avoid the area of the incident, and adhere to instructions issued by local authorities and their home governments.
