Taxi drivers in Honduras are set to strike nationwide as of Monday, March 2. Participants seek to protest Congress' approval of VIP taxis, of which there are 15,000 operating nationwide and 3500 in the capital Tegucigalpa. The strike is set to begin as of 08:30 (local time). It is unclear how long the strike is set to last. Associated gatherings and protests cannot be ruled out.
