On Saturday, March 14, approximately 25 rounds of indirect fire (IDF) hit Camp Taji in Baghdad province, approximately 17 km (10.5 mi) from Baghdad city. The incident took place at 10:50 (local time) and an estimated six individuals were injured.

Further attacks targeting US and coalition troops remain possible in the coming hours and days.


On March 11, approximately 18 rockets were fired into the Al-Taji airbase, killing two Americans and one British national. Another 11 people were wounded in the attack. No group immediately claimed responsibility for the strike.


Individuals in Iraq are advised to keep abreast of the situation, remain vigilant for militant activity, and adhere to all instructions issued by the local authorities and their home governments.
