A political protest was reported in Abuja at approximately 13:30 (local time) on Thursday, March 19. Participants are reportedly demonstrating along Ibrahim Babangida Boulevard in Wuse 2. According to local sources, protesters are holding placards of the All Progressive Congress (APC).

A heightened security presence and associated transportation disruptions are expected in the vicinity of the demonstration. Clashes between opposing political groups cannot be ruled out.

Individuals in Abuja are advised to monitor the situation, avoid all protests due to the risk of violence, and adhere to any instructions issued by the local authorities.

The security environment in Nigeria is complex and is particularly challenging in the northeast and extreme south of the country due to the presence of armed groups, high crime rates, and the risk of kidnapping. Professional security advice and support should be sought prior to travel to such areas.
