German weather officials issued multiple warnings for wind covering all of the central and southern regions on Monday, April 20. Orange and yellow warnings (second and third highest on a four-tier scale) will remain in effect through Monday in the central and southernmost country while the inclement weather could potentially persist until Wednesday, April 22, in the morning (local time) in some southeastern regions.

Related transportation disruptions, hazardous driving conditions, and power outages are possible in the affected areas over the coming hours and days.
