At least four people have been killed and six injured following the explosion of an improvised explosive device (IED) in the Kart-e-Char area of Kabul's PD3 on Friday, June 12. The IED was reportedly detonated at the Sher Shah Suri mosque. Security forces are reported to be responding to the incident. 

A heightened security presence and localized disruptions are expected in the area over the coming hours.


Individuals in Kabul are advised to avoid the affected area, remain vigilant for militant activity, and adhere to all instructions issued by the local authorities and their home governments.
