Event

At least eight soldiers were wounded on Saturday, June 13, after their vehicle struck a landmine in the Sindian arrondissement, Bignona department (Ziguinchor region). Media sources suggest that the incident occurred approximately between 16:00 and 17:00 (local time) between Lefeu and Boyeme villages. The wounded were transferred to a local medical facility to receive treatment. No group has claimed responsibility for the blast.
