Hundreds of people have gathered in downtown Lisbon on Saturday afternoon (local time), June 27, in a protest organized by the far-right Chega Party's leader Andre Ventura. The party is known for controversial remarks regarding ethnic minorities; however, protesters shouted "Portugal is not racist". As of Saturday late afternoon (local time), there have been no reports of arrests or any violence.
