Thousands of demonstrators have gathered in Berlin on Saturday, August 1, to denounce coronavirus disease (COVID-19) measures, among other grievances. Around 15,000 participants gathered from 10:30 (local time) on Unter den Linden before marching to Straße des 17 Juni, and then on to Victory Column. Additionally, civil society and anti-fascist groups will reportedly gather at Brandenburg Gate between 14:00 and 22:00.
