Demonstrators are planning to gather in Athens and Thessaloniki on Thursday evening, August 6, to commemorate the anniversary of the nuclear bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, and Greece's involvement in wars. In Athens, participants will gather at Jacqueline de Romy Square from 20:00 (local time), while demonstrators in Thessaloniki will gather from 19:00 at the White Tower Square.
