The Medical Federation of Peru (FMP) announced that a 48-hour nationwide strike to demand better investment for the health sector, improved wages, and other social demands will take place on Wednesday, August 26, and Thursday, August 27. The union's directors agreed not to pause the services of critical areas and triage of public hospitals.
