Unconfirmed reports on social media outlets suggest that at least four people were injured on Monday, August 24, after an explosion took place on board a ferry docked at the Heraklion Port in Crete. Reports indicate that an electrical explosion occurred in the engine room of the vessel. Crewmembers were injured and transferred to a nearby hospital, there were no passengers on board.
