Event

On Thursday, September 3, at least three civilians were killed after an improvised explosive device (IED) detonated in Nangarhar province. According to media sources, a civilian vehicle struck the roadside device at around 06:00 (local time) on Thursday morning in the Pacheragam district. No group has claimed immediate responsibility for the blast.

Similar attacks targeting civilians and security forces are likely across the country.
