Roadside bomb targets Pakistani security forces in Kech district (Balochistan province) on September 3; further attacks possible over the near term

At least three Pakistani soldiers were reportedly killed and four others were wounded after a roadside bomb struck their vehicle during a routine patrol on Thursday, September 3, in Kech district (Balochistan province). According to reports, the incident occurred in the Zumran area of Buleda Tehsil, with the Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) claiming responsibility for the attack.

Similar attacks are possible in Balochistan province over the near term.  


Those in Balochistan are advised to monitor developments, remain vigilant for militant activity, and adhere to all instructions issued by the local authorities and their home governments.
