Authorities evacuate Eiffel Tower in Paris following bomb threat received by police on September 23; follow authority directives

The Eiffel Tower was evacuated on Wednesday, September 23, after a call was made to the police claiming a bomb had been placed in the vicinity of the monument. Police also closed several roads and set up a cordon in the area surrounding the monument. Law enforcement officers are undertaking checks for explosive devices.
