Protesting vendors from La Pampa market gathered in Cochabamba (Cercado province) on Thursday, September 24, to demand the removal of the Secretary of Citizen Protection, Max Rodríguez. Demonstrators have gathered in the vicinity of Plaza de Armas Septiembre 14 in a gathering that has reportedly thus far remained peaceful. Protesters have given the Mayor of Cochabamba 24 hours to meet their demands, which also includes the removal of street vendors.
