Protesters gathered in Krakow on Saturday, October 10, in opposition to restrictions introduced to address the spread of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic. Demonstrators gathered in Main Market Square to present authorities with a petition to demand that authorities rescind the requirement that face masks be worn in public spaces. Police temporarily closed Basztowa Street due to the protest.

Further demonstrations on the issue, along with disruptions to overland travel, are possible in the near term.
