Armed bandits attacked traders in the Bangale area of Bura (Tana River County) on Sunday, October 25, as they were traveling to a livestock market in Kaniki. Reportedly, the attackers robbed the traders of their possessions and stole money, shooting two of the traders in the legs and causing minor injuries to the other four. Local authorities stated that police were deployed to the area to pursue the bandits and carry out investigations.
