Fishermen in Santa Fe Province planned to hold a protest on Monday, November 2, to demand economic assistance amid the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic. The fishermen planned to gather at the Fuente de la Cordialidad monument in the provincial capital Santa Fe at 08:00 (local time). Participants have also threatened to block roads in the area and associated demonstrations are likely in Rosario and other towns and cities across the province.

A heightened police presence is expected in the vicinity of any demonstrations and disruptions to overland transport are likely, particularly along Route 168 at the Fuente de Cordialidad and along Route 1 from Santa Fe to the north of the province.
