Fire at textile warehouse in Ahmedabad (Gujarat state) kills four on November 4; emergency operations ongoing

At least four people were killed and eight others injured after a fire broke out at a textiles warehouse in Ahmedabad (Gujarat state) on Wednesday, November 4. The warehouse on Pirana-Piplaj Road collapsed due to the fire. Rescue operations are ongoing with fears that more workers are trapped under in the building. The cause of the fire has not been confirmed.

Disruptions are expected in the area in the coming hours as emergency operations continue.
