Hundreds of student protesters clashed with police at the Mireille-Grenet high school in Compiegne (Oise department) on Monday, November 9, after they had gathered to denounce the alleged lack of protective measures against the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic at schools. Protesters began to block access to the school from 07:30 (local time) with burning pallets and began to throw objects at police officers. Police arrested at least four people following the arrival of reinforcements.
