A gas explosion in the Venustiano Carranza district of Mexico City killed at least two people and injured 25 others late on Friday, November 13. The explosion took place in the Morelos neighborhood of the district, on Panaderos street, with the blast causing the collapse of several floors of an apartment building and damaging several properties nearby.

Disruption to transportation is likely in the vicinity of the explosion as emergency services secure the site and carry out investigations into the cause of the blast.
