Multiple protesters arrested during protest in Wolverhampton November 14; avoid demonstrations as a precaution

A dozen protesters were arrested during an anti-lockdown demonstration in Wolverhampton on Saturday, November 14. Around 150 people gathered at Wolverhampton's Civic Center for a protest organized by the group Midlands Freedom Education Rally. The participants refused to disperse when requested to by security forces, who stated that the protest was in breach of the current coronavirus disease (COVID-19)-related restrictions on social gatherings.  

Further associated protests are likely in the area in the coming weeks.   


Those in Wolverhampton are advised to monitor the situation, anticipate transportation disruptions, and adhere to all instructions issued by local authorities.
