A demonstration is scheduled to take place in Tegucigalpa on Tuesday, November 24. The demonstration has been organized by the Colegio de Profesores de Educación Media de Honduras (COPEMH) teachers union and is being held to demand the payment of back wages for the month of November. The demonstration is scheduled to take place outside the Ministry of Finance where participants will gather from 08:00 (local time). The union is claiming that the government has violated their collective agreement.

A heightened police presence and localized transport disruptions should be expected in the vicinity of the demonstration.
