Police reportedly discovered and destroyed a landmine that had been placed near Mohammed Reja mosque located in Sebeta town (Oromia region) on Wednesday, November 25. Local media sources suggest that police received information about the presence of the improvised explosive device (IED) near the mosque in the Kebele 04 area by members of the community. Security personnel responded, began search operations in the area, and destroyed the device before it detonated.
