Thunderstorms with heavy hail and winds reaching 100 kph (62 mph) are expected in eight provinces located in southern and western Poland on Monday, July 10. The Poland’s Institute of Meteorology and Water Management has issued level-two alerts (the second-highest on a three-tier scale) in Swietokrzyskie, Dolnoslaskie, Slaskie, Wielkopolskie, Malopolskie, Lubuskie, Opolskie, and Lodzkie.
Transport disruptions (rail, road) due to debris blocking roads or tracks are possible. Localized power cuts and flooding may also occur.
Individuals in affected areas are advised to keep abreast of weather forecasts, adhere to any orders issued by the local authorities, and plan ahead for possible transportation disruptions.
