Record rainfall struck the Paris region July 9-10, resulting in localized transportation disruptions. The capital received the equivalent of 27 days of rain falling in just one night, flooding roads and parts of the Paris metro. As a result, stations Oberkampf and Quai de la Rapée on line 5 as well as stations Voltaire and Maubert-Mutualité on line 10 will not be served until 11:30 (local time). Moreover, traffic on the RER D (commuter rail) is slowed and major traffic jams have been reported on highways A1, A3, A86, and A13.
Travelers are advised to allow for extra time to reach their destinations.
